Behind the Photo - Self Portrait

So I have wanted to do a photoshoot of myself for a long time now, and I'm so thankful that I finally put it together and just did it.

I am a firm believer in practice what you preach and believe that every boudoir photographer, male and female, needs to do this type of photography for themselves. And thankfully, with the help of my good friend Nicheal, I finally got some great photos of myself.

I have wanted to do this for the past two years! But life kept getting in the way. I had a good workout plan and was happy with the results that I was getting, but then I needed to have emergency surgery on my eye, and the recovery for that was several months. And those were some rough months, but I pushed through.

Then after I fully recovered and started to get back into the groove of things, COVID hit NY hard. So we went into lockdown and kept my kids home from school, and since I was shooting out of my home, it made it impossible to do any photoshoot with my girls there.

So as time went on, I decided to bite the bullet, take a risk, and get my own studio space outside of my home. And I couldn't be happier I did that. Having my own dedicated space has allowed me to fully spread my wings and be as creative as I want to be.

As I was building up my studio space, I put together some creative photoshoots that I just needed to get out of my head and actually do, and I couldn't be more thrilled with the results. I finally got to do a Day of the Dead shoot, and full Gold Body Glitter shoot, and even this excellent Galaxy Concept that I came up with.

Now that my studio is finished and I have a great team formed, I wanted to take some much-needed time to focus on myself a little bit.

I always tell people, "Don't wait to do your photoshoot, do it now because you are perfect just the way you are."

So even though I'm not at the exact body shape that I wanted to be, I couldn't be happier with how these came out. And I can not wait to do this again once I build up my body some more.

So if you are one of those people who think you still need to lose some weight before you have a shoot, don't wait.

Just do it now because you are so much better looking than you think you are, and me and my team will show you just how stunning and beautiful you truly are.

And if I can make myself look this good, I can make anyone look this good, lol.
